"There is a pair of old Vise-Grip® pliers in my tool box that has been in the family for years. My dad and I used them on the farm, then later at an automotive paint and body shop he owned. When he retired the shop I started in the maintenance department, where I still work today (28 years). He passed the old tools on to me. The old Vise-Grip® pliers have been to hell and back, but are still in good working order.

A few years back someone gave me a cheap (China) version of the c-clamp type pliers, and they are garbage. Yesterday, I purchased a new pair of Vise-Grip® brand c-clamps at Lowe's. I have worked with tools all my life and know them well, Vise-Grip® tools are the best that you can get."
